Editorial Policy
The rules our editorial team follows when writing, scoring and updating every review on Best AI SDR.
Editorial independence
Every score, ranking and verdict on Best AI SDR is set by the editorial team before any commercial discussion. No vendor pays for placement, position, score, or coverage. Affiliate commissions may fund which products we prioritize for review — never how a product ranks once reviewed.
Commercial staff have no involvement in scoring or copy. Editorial staff have no visibility into which vendors have or have not signed a partnership agreement while a review is being written.
How we source information
Every product review draws on at least three of the following:
- ·Hands-on trial of at least 14 days (30 days where access allows)
- ·Live vendor briefing with product leadership (not just marketing)
- ·Structured interviews with 3+ current customers (median: 6)
- ·Public product documentation, changelogs, security disclosures
- ·First-party test lab data — including our 200-mailbox deliverability fleet
Pricing is verified with the vendor before publication. When pricing is not publicly standardized we say "Custom pricing" — we do not invent figures.
How we score
Every product is scored on five weighted criteria: Autonomy (25%), Data Quality (20%), Deliverability & Engagement (20%), Integrations (20%), and Pricing Value (15%). Weights and the full rubric live on our Methodology page. Scores are re-evaluated monthly and off-cycle for material product releases or pricing changes.
Fact-checking
Every published claim is fact-checked before publication using tiered evidence. Read the full process in our Fact-Check Policy.
Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we fix it fast. Corrections are made within one business day of confirmation, dated visibly at the top of the affected page, and (for substantive corrections) noted at the bottom of the article. Report errors to editorial@bestaisdr.com.
AI in the editorial process
We use AI tools for research assistance and copy-editing. Every published sentence is written or rewritten by a human editor listed on the byline. We do not publish AI-generated first drafts of reviews or rankings.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
Some links on Best AI SDR are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission. Affiliate commissions may influence which products we prioritize for review coverage.
