Tiers of evidence

How we rank sources

Not all evidence is created equal. Every material claim on Best AI SDR is backed by at least one of the following tiers, in descending order of confidence:

  1. Tier 1 — First-party test data. Data from our own hands-on trials and the Best AI SDR test lab (including the 200-mailbox deliverability fleet).
  2. Tier 2 — Vendor confirmation. Facts confirmed in writing by the vendor's product or leadership team.
  3. Tier 3 — Verified customer interviews. Structured interviews with named customers, backed by a role and company we can verify.
  4. Tier 4 — Public product documentation. Official product docs, changelogs, pricing pages, security disclosures, and public roadmap posts.
  5. Tier 5 — Reputable secondary reporting. Analyst research, industry surveys with disclosed methodology, and reporting from established B2B outlets.

Every review lists which tiers were used. Claims that only sit on Tier 5 are flagged as such in the copy.

Numbers

Pricing, performance, and statistical claims

All pricing figures are verified with the vendor before publication. If a vendor declines to confirm pricing, we say "Custom pricing" — we do not extrapolate from third-party listings. Performance claims (reply rates, meeting-booking lifts, deliverability rates) are attributed either to first-party testing or to a specific named study with a link. We do not use industry-average figures as if they were vendor-specific results.

Turnaround

Corrections turnaround

When a factual error is confirmed, we correct it within one business day. The change is dated at the top of the page and, for substantive corrections, described in a "Corrections" note at the bottom of the article. Purely cosmetic edits (typos, formatting) are not logged.
